2004. La venjança d'al-Mansur


Synopsis:

In 1502 the Moorish population of Granada was harshly repressed both by the Castilian military forces and by the dreaded Inquisition. Invoking occult powers, a desperate Muslim demanded an avenger for his people. Al-Mansur, the invincible Andalusian leader who died exactly 500 years ago, was reincarnated. Knights of the Order of the Iberian Sword went to the Alhambra to stop the threat and protect King Ferdinand.

As the prophecy said, 500 years later, on the millennium of al-Mansur’s death, he came back to life thirsty for revenge. The descendants of that mystical medieval brotherhood, a Castilian inspector, a Portuguese detective practitioner of capoeira, a Basque expert in fencing and an old monk versed in exorcism and other occult arts, joined a young Catalan historian, trained in taekwondo. Together they will follow the trail of the butcheries of al-Mansur through spots typical of the medieval past of Islamic and Christian Hispania.

As the atypical investigation progresses, Toledo, the Córdoba mosque, Madinat al-Zahara, the cathedrals of León and Santiago de Compostela, the castles of Miravet and Peníscola... will be some of the scenes of unusual apparitions, supernatural phenomena, grueling trainings, fabulous night battles and fast-paced chases.

Distinguished personalities of the Reconquista will fight their last crusade: al-Mansur and his army of ghosts against the five brave knights, who will be supported by a host of templar ghosts led by the Cid himself. And in the midst of that unstable intrigue, a powerful lost chronicle and a mysterious girl with an enchanting look will finally tip the balance of victory.

Synopsis:

More than a thousand years ago, the Song Chinese Empire was threatened by the ruthless Khitan barbarians. Only a famous general, known as the Swift Sword, could face them to save the country from chaos and destruction.

While the war shook the north, his two young sons, Wolf Fangs and Fulminant Panther, joined the monk Iron Palm to fight the pirates who were terrorizing a village of humble fishermen. They will manage to defeat them thanks to the tough kung-fu training that their father and the masters of the legendary Shaolin temple subjected them to. Together they were like the prongs of a trident, the Dragon’s Trident. However, they cannot prevent the pirate leader and the corrupt aristocrat behind them from escaping with impunity.

However, a few years later, fate offered them the opportunity to complete their honourable and valiant mission, finding the brigands again in full execution of another evil plan during the celebration of a martial arts tournament. This time they will be accompanied by an old man with extraordinary powers, the legendary Serpentine Mantis master.

Their adventure will lead them to the city of Jingjao, the imperial capital Kaifeng, the Buddhist temple of Mount Song, the Taoist monastery of Wutang, the tombs guarded by terracotta warriors… to the very gates of the Great Wall.
